Battery Directive
Valid as of April 29, 2010

Please make sure to dispose of used batteries/rechargeable batteries via a dedicated collection at shops or recycling facilities provided by the community, as required by law. Disposal in household waste is prohibited and in violation of the battery directive. Handing in used batteries is free of charge. You are also able to return batteries/rechargeable batteries we offer to us, in normal household quantities. Return of batteries needs to be shipped with sufficient postage. Send returns to:

Aipermon GmbH & Co. KG

All batteries (in some cases, packaging) are labeled with a crossed-out wheelie bin symbol, marking their exclusion from household waste management. Also, on some batteries, chemical symbols of contained harmful substances are displayed underneath the crossed-out wheelie bin symbol:

Pb for Lead
Cd for Cadmium
Hg for Mercury

This information is also available in merchandise’s accompanying papers or in device manuals.
