AiperCare – Use of the monitoring system for people in need at home and in nursing homes
The AiperCare system is made of a portable device with integrated localizing function (GPS, GNSS) and a data transfer (GSM) and data management infrastructure. Caregivers can easily setup various alarm scenarios via the device menu or the internet.
Information via SMS, call, emergency reporting chain
Caregivers are informed by AiperCare via SMS or call when the person in need stands up, leaves a set radius or the house. Also, an emergency reporting chain can be alarmed. Emergency intervention or alarm giving is done by implemented service providers, for example DRK, Malteser or Arbeiter Samariter Bund etc.
AiperCare - target market
AiperCare was developed for caregiving relatives and care service providers, especially if persons in need of care are suffering from dementia or cannot recognize possible self-harm. The solution can also be used in nursing homes. It can be integrated into other service solutions. Service providers in the areas of care service or telecommunication infrastructure are able to use the technical solution to offer new services in the area of care. AiperCare holds new business models for the providers of care services.
