AiperSunny 333 the Motion Coach
AiperSunny
333 is a small activity sensor with user software. AiperSunny 333 is carried
sideways on the hip (centre of gravity) at the trouser waistband or belt. Ex
90 sec. continuous motion, AiperSunny counts the activity on the daily account.
This functions with a three dimensional acceleration sensor which identifies
activities depending on their intensity as “walking” or “walking
fast”. As the account fills up, the sun rises.
The reward principle
The reward for being more active is very easy: Everyday, the sun on the screen will come up. If a third of the desired fitness level is achieved, the sun will appear at the bottom of the screen. If two thirds are accomplished, the sun will smile but without rays. Once the fitness level is completely achieved, the sun shines and smiles for the rest of the day.
The evaluation software AiperSun
Using the software AiperSun, data from the device can be recorded
and interpreted. AiperSun offers daily, weekly, monthly and long-term analysis.
A fitness level can be chosen through the software to fit the user.
There are
three fitness levels to choose from:
- untrained
- moderately fit
- sporty
The
software additionally displays the time the sun came up. Trend arrows show
a more or less of activity. The total time of motion is counted in minutes.
At the end of a month one can see how often the activity goal was reached.
Individual use
AiperSunny 333 can be used individually, e.g.
- for regular motivation and self-check during cardiovascular fitness programs
- in order to integrate physical activity firmly during weight reduction phases
- for motion encouragement of children, seniors, employees…

The AiperSunny Coaching Concept
The technical concept is designed so that results can be given to an adviser or coach. This is permitted through a forwarding possibility via the internet.
Providers, who would like to implement motion coaching in their programs, can receive the activity results of their clients. The user of the AiperSunny needs the software AiperSun as well as an internet access.
For weight reduction programs additionally a scale is integrable, which transfers weight measurements directly to the AiperSunny. The weight values are represented in the software and can be transferred online.
On basis of the data a feedback with consultation can take place: by call, email or letter. Care concepts are conceivable. A bonus system could be distributed. It is possible to correlate physical activity with nutrition or weight development..
The provider can use the data to:
- integrate into a web portal
- collect and save it in a database
- implement in an electronic health record
Therefore, this simple technology offers new long-term opportunities for its user:
- for weight reduction programs, through which clients can be coached or advised via web portals or data file-based
- for prevention programs respective health promotion courses of health insurances
- for corporate physical activity programs for physical activity programs in school
- for sustainability programs of rehabilitation and cure institutions
The architecture of the result transfer to the program provider will be designed and implemented client-specifically and on project basis.
