AiperShirt
In close cooperation with the Berlin University Hospital Charité and
Lodenfrey, Aipermon developed a T-shirt into which eudermic wearable sensors
are integrated that are hardly noticed by the wearer. This enables thorough
long-term ECG measurements to be taken without irritation to the skin. Furthermore,
conditions of activity can be measured in everyday situations through the integrated
AiperMotion activity sensor, such as passive, active, and various running speeds. Heart frequency
and activity data can be wirelessly transmitted from the AiperShirt, for example
with the AiperCoach Home system or the AiperCoach
Mobile system.
Recording physical activity and heart frequency over a long period opens up completely new diagnostic possibilities in medicine.
Fields of application for the AiperShirt arise for example in rehabilitation medicine, geriatrics, competitive sport or even in outer space medicine. These are the subject of current research.
