System overview - telemedicine at high blood pressure
Long-term storage and monitoring of blood pressure levels
Measured levels were transferred regularly to an electronic patient file over the course of three years (2006 to 2009) and viewed and monitored by the medical service center of the insurance company. As soon as transferred blood pressure data showed irregularities, patients received a call from the supporting service center to gain advice and further information regarding doctor’s visits, for example.
Aipermon service
Aipermon delivered the telemetrically equipped blood pressure measuring devices and data transfer units – homebox access station, as well as substantial data transfer infrastructure for this pilot project. Measured data was transferred to an electronic patient file of InterComponentWare
