Dominik Wegertseder

is executive director of Aipermon GmbH & Co. KG and is responsible for the fields of Innovation management, System Architecture, Specification, as well as Product and System Development. He is one of the founding members of the company, which from 1st March 2005 to 25th May 2007 was named Actimon GmbH & Co KG.

Dominik Wegertseder studied Electronic and Information Technology at the Technical University, Munich and at the University of Cincinnati, USA.

He started his professional career in 1995 at Siemens HL in the Chip Card and Security ICs division. He began there as a development engineer before becoming project manager for product development and production transfer for embedded EEPROM products.

From 1997 he held worldwide responsibility, as programme manager and overall project manager, for the new 16-bit chip card controller family. In this position he was in charge of product specification and development, product qualification, production transfer, and later, marketing.

From 2000 he was responsible for the first 32-bit chip card controller family, as a programme manager. This was followed by him setting up the IP Landscape department and becoming manager of the Concept Enginneering department, with worldwide responsibility for the specification of all hardware and software products within the Secure Mobile Solutions division at Infineon Technologies.

In 2003 Dominik Wegertseder was appointed Senior Principal at Infineon Technologies AG.

From 2004 he was responsible for setting up ActiCoach technology (telemonitoring) as the technical manager in the Emerging Business division at Infineon.
